That game is strangely addicting. Can I pay off my truck loan or not?

It is strangely addicting. Maybe it's because it's just different. The map nod I installed gave me loads more cities. Also, you can pay it off over time.

Yeah, it's a pretty entertaining game. I wonder why they didn't put Spain in though.

I was wondering that myself. There's a multi-player bit coming out for it soon.

The bigger Europe map mod? Yeah, I took a look at my home country and it's a bit... simplified. :D Somebody needs to come up with an algoryhthm to convert Google Maps data into maps for this bad boy. Or some racing sims. Coulda had ourselves some nice road trips, eh.
The idea is to go pixel by pixel and find corresponding textures in the game's data as far as the environments go. Some buildings are already in the maps, while others can be abstracted from the ground plans. It doesn't seem all that hard. What am I missing?

That would be wicked. Especially having all of the little side roads and roads through the forest and such. It would be a blast. I know I've killed 17 hours already. I'm waiting for the multi-player mod to release.
I'm not sure that you're missing anything, although I'm sure someone has come up with a way to do that, or is trying to at least.

Until I either learn to do this or nag somebody who does, feel free to take a look at some existing approximations of the concept: http://googlemapsmania.blogspot.com/2013/09/5-amaz…
Plus this upgraded version of one on the list above: http://framesynthesis.com/drivingsimulat…

Will do. I think it would be a cool concept to try on the next ten consoles too. Massively multiplayer free roam simulations like this.
